As we ease out of strict stay-at-home regiments, our sales volumes have begun to return but not our “traditional” home sales practices!
Open houses are gone, at least for now, and showing a home involves private one-on-one (or two) “social distancing” appointments with masks and gloves. Our industry is also leveraging new technologies to show a property remotely. All that our Real Estate Board has implemented has made the buying and selling process safer than going to the grocery store!
Our Real Estate Board president had this to say: “We are an essential service but it’s not business as usual. Realtors are working hard to comply with the provincial health orders and responsibly operate in today’s environment.”
